Inhabiting the Ruin:

Hidden actions in unregulated and unregulated spaces

The ruin shows the urban complexity that, in spite of being doomed to the future, cannot avoid having its real past present. We can define it as something solid and enduring; that which persists, the material core that remains when everything else has corroded. We understand ruin as the exaltation of its memory and keep it in use.

The ideal polis is conceived as something orderly and rational, which we have been building, eliminating from our cities all that chaotic nature and going against it. That is why we let vegetation freely take a space within the city.

We analyze therefore the elements that intervene in the ruin, as well as the subjects that are participants in the actions that take place in these places.
are participants in the actions that take place in these places. The ruin carries an implicit program that has not been imposed.
